1. Installation Compliance: The vehicle lift must be installed in full compliance with all applicable local and national regulations, codes, and ordinances.
2. Operator Training: All operators must be adequately trained, understand how to operate the lift safely, and be under proper supervision at all times.
3. Pre-Operation Check: Do not operate the lift until you have confirmed that all components are correctly fitted and functioning as intended.
4. Hand and Foot Safety: Keep hands and feet clear of the lift mechanism. Avoid contact with moving parts, and take care to stand clear as the lift descends. Do not place feet on sharp or protruding objects
5. Workspace Tidiness: Maintain a clean and orderly work area to prevent accidents or injuries.
6. Indoor Use Only: This lift is approved solely for indoor installation and use. Outdoor installation is strictly prohibited.
7. Authorised Operators Only: Only trained personnel may operate the lift. Untrained individuals must remain clear of the work area and must never attempt to use the equipment.
8. Correct Usage: Operate the lift only in the manner for which it is designed.
9. Warning – Clear the Area: Ensure no persons or objects are near the lift when raising or lowering a vehicle.
10. Fall Risk: If there is any risk of the vehicle falling, ensure the surrounding area is completely clear.
11. Safety Device Engagement: Before approaching or servicing the vehicle, verify that the safety mechanism is fully engaged.
12. Appropriate Attire: Wear suitable clothing when operating machinery. Steel-toe, non-slip footwear is strongly recommended.
13. Electrical Safety – Shock Hazard: To prevent electric shock, the lift must be properly grounded. Do not connect the green wire to a live terminal—this is the earth wire.
14. Danger – High Voltage: This lift operates on high-voltage power. Always disconnect the power supply before performing any electrical maintenance. Unplug the unit if power is accidentally restored during servicing
15. Warning – Explosion Risk: Certain components may produce sparks or arcs. Do not operate near flammable gases. This machine must not be installed in living spaces or basements.
16. Maintenance Care: Keep the machine clean to ensure safe and efficient operation. Follow the manual’s lubrication and maintenance guidelines. Ensure handles and controls remain clean, dry, and free from oil or grease.
17. Vigilance: Maintain full awareness of your surroundings and exercise common sense at all times.
18. Damage Inspection: Regularly inspect for wear, misalignment, or damage to components. Do not use the lift if any part is defective.
19. Safety Components: Never remove or bypass safety features. A damaged or incomplete lift must not be operated.
20. Operating Conditions: Use the lift only within an ambient temperature range of 5°C to 40°C.
